Newport Grand Wins 8th Annual Martini Contest

Newport, RI – February 21st, 2008 –Newport Grand, participated in the 8th Annual Martini Contest as part of the 20th Annual Newport Winter Festival.

Newport Grand along with Twin River, Fluke, Loca, Belle Mer, Fathoms, and Thomas Tew Rum competed for the coveted "BEST MARTINI" title.

After an evening of spectacular bartending the scores were tabulated and the winners were announced!

1st =   Newport Grand - Crazy Cotton-tini -  SCORE  73 /80

2nd =  Blackstone Bar - Twin River - Flight of Love - 72.5/ 80

3rd =  Lighthouse Bar - Twin River - Bannana Berry Martini - 71.5/80
